Overview
GoLucid, is an event technology consultant, that specializes in streamlining tech stacks for event companies. Founder Josiah helps businesses evaluate their software usage to eliminate redundancies, reduce costs, and maximize efficiency.
GoLucid's website was originally built on HubSpot with minimal design expertise. After parting ways with his previous partner, Josiah needed an updated feel to his brand and website refresh to align with his company’s growing reputation and upcoming industry opportunities.
Josiah faced a tight deadline with a high-stakes goal. The website had to be designed and built in just one week to coincide with a major event in Las Vegas and the release of a PR campaign supporting his efforts at IMEX, a prominent industry conference.

Process and Approach
Research & Discovery
Given the tight timeline, research was focused and targeted. Insights were gathered during an initial meeting with PR partner, Inktide Solutions, to clarify the brand’s audience, goals, and key competitors. The information collected was the shared within a google sheets doc to provide a collaborative way to get the copy and insights to the Go Lucid updated messaging.
Design Choices
Color Scheme: Starting with GoLucid’s existing blue logo, the palette expanded to include a bright green, symbolizing light and clarity, paired with deep blues and a muted purple to ground the design
Typography: I chose to include a blend of serif fonts that had a professional feel to them along with a fun serif style for callouts headlines to created a bit of personality and approachability.
Visual Layout: The design emphasized clean lines, bold CTAs, and strategic use of bright green buttons to guide user actions. A balance of dark backgrounds and bright accents added visual interest without overwhelming the content.
Collaboration & Execution
Working closely with Inktide Solutions, regular check-ins ensured alignment on content, design, and project milestones, enabling the project to stay on track despite the tight timeline.

This project highlighted the value of thoughtful design under tight deadlines. By leveraging bold colors, textures, and typography over stock photography, the final product felt fresh, modern, and on-brand.
This experience refined my ability to manage time efficiently, collaborate effectively with stakeholders, and deliver high-quality work under pressure—a skill set I’ll carry forward into future projects.
